This after-hours webinar will explain why cash flow management is essential for practice and examine strategies for monitoring and adjusting cash flow as required. This includes how to undertake cash forecasts (budgets) and use them to identify cash needs, tips and tools to monitor your cash flow, and when to control expenses.

The session will also introduce the basics of costing, enabling participants to categorise various practice costs and how they can be incorporated into pricing to help achieve profitability.

Speaker bio:  Matt Dyki -Teaching Fellow, University of Melbourne  Department of Accounting  |  Faculty of Business and Economics

Matt is a teaching fellow in the Accounting Department at the University of Melbourne. Matt focuses on Teaching Accounting Information Systems and Introductory Accounting and Accounting to non-accountants. Matt is interested in Accounting Education, serving on the AFAANZ Accounting Education Special Interest Group and as President of the SAP University Alliance for Asia Pacific Japan and Greater China. Matt also delivers executive education sessions, forming a connection with industry based on his teaching.
